There are three seasons in Goa, which has a tropical climate. A visit will be the best time in terms of beach parties, peaceful retreat, and monsoon greenery. The weather is also a major factor that affects outdoor activities and water sports.
Summer Season in Goa (March – May)
Summers are hot and damp with temperatures of above 35o C. It is not so busy and it can be taken up by the low end travelers, but day time sightseeing is exhausting.
Monsoon Season in Goa (June – October)
Goa is an idyllic small paradise, which turns green with the monsoon. Although the water sports are reduced, water sports is the season to visit as a nature lover, and the off-season discounts.
Winter Season in Goa (November – February)
The best tourist season is during winter when the weather ranges between 20°C–30°C. Best in beaches, night life, festivals and water sports.
